Cedric Lefebvre tends to originate links between psychology and contemporary concepts. His works – static or shifting, mainly graphic and mineral – are willing to move contrasts closer, denying divergences, erasing boundaries, flirting with reality… To remind us that differences are just appearances. Cedric’s current research is focusing on the similarities between religious feelings and aesthetic emotions. Art as an illusory deification of beauty, a magic gateway to an utopian promised land. His work has been shown internationally, most recently in Dogma, HDLU, Zagreb, Croatia, 2009; On The Line, Crimes Town Gallery, London 2009; April Meetings, VIP Art Gallery, Belgrade, Serbia; Crime & Punishment, 198 Contemporary Arts, London, 2008… Cedric Lefebvre was born in 1968 in Brussels, Belgium where he lives and works.
